My training is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy. I have earned an MS in Employee Assistance Counseling at Wright State University and an MA in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from The Ohio State University. I am a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. My chemical dependency work experience includes survivors of Traumatic Brain

Injury, people receiving chemical dependency services through the Criminal Justice System, and veterans referred to for Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment services (VR&E, Chapter 31) through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. My ideas about counseling and therapy have been formed along the principles and practices of the 12-Step philosophy. My family has a history of military service and I am a veteran of the Vietnam War.

 
 
 
 

My Fun Side

I received my first camera when I was eight years old, and I helped sustain Kodak until the digital age began. My favorite subjects now are my grandkids, my wife, my three Border Collies, and Israel, any time I can get back there.physically and financially, but I love them to life.
