Meet Jesse.
““You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending”
Jesse Wallace, PhD, MS, LMFT,
I am Jesse Wallace, PhD, MS, LMFT, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing individual, couples, trauma-focused, and crisis-oriented behavioral health care. I support clients facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship distress, betrayal, grief, compulsive behaviors, ADHD, life transitions, and the experience of feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed.
My 22 years of military service shaped my understanding of military culture, leadership, operational stress, trauma, reintegration, and the unique experiences of service members and Veterans seeking steady, informed support.
I believe meaningful change involves understanding patterns, building practical skills, and learning healthier ways to respond to pain, conflict, and uncertainty. I offer a supportive, honest space where clients can speak openly, feel respected, and work toward goals that matter.
My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from CBT, ACT, EMDR, motivational interviewing, attachment-based work, solution-focused therapy, and relationship-focused approaches. When desired, I respectfully integrate Christian faith and biblical principles in a client-centered way that supports your values, choices, and healing process.
You do not need to know exactly what is wrong before starting therapy. We can begin where you are, clarify what matters most, and move at a pace that feels manageable. Together, we can work toward greater emotional stability, healthier relationships, stronger boundaries, practical coping skills, renewed hope, and a more grounded, meaningful life.
My Fun Side
I value time with my family and the quieter parts of life that help keep me grounded. I’m an avid runner and enjoy staying physically active, getting outdoors, and using running to decompress, reflect, and maintain balance. After many years in behavioral health and military service, I have developed a strong appreciation for meaningful conversations, humor, and simply spending time with the people who matter most to me. I also enjoy working around the house, learning new things, and taking on projects that keep me engaged. My Christian faith and family are important parts of my life and help keep me grounded in what matters most. I believe life needs room for connection, gratitude, and laughter —even during difficult circumstances.
WHAT MY CLIENTS SAY
“I was amazed how easy he made it to trust him. He remembers our conversations, never judges me for forgetting, and gives me helpful activities to practice.”
